Celebrate the inspiring lives and achievements of everyday people who changed the course of history with access to 3 museums during your Baltimore vacation!
The Legends & Legacies Heritage Pass celebrates the inspiring lives and achievements of everyday people who changed the course of history. Behind every great act of courage, invention and creativity stands a legend-an ordinary person making extraordinary choices. This is the legacy of the African-American experience. What is your legacy? Get inspired. It includes admission to three museums and their special exhibitions:
- Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History & Culture: The largest African American museum on the East Coast, it features permanent exhibits dedicated to the story of African Americans along with special exhibitions throughout the year.
- Frederick Douglas-Isaac Meyers Maritime Park: The story of the great abolitionist, Frederick Douglass, and entrepreneur and founder of the first African American owned shipyard, Isaac Myers, come to life.
- The National Great Blacks in Wax Museum: The only museum of its kind in the United States features more than 100 life-size and life-like wax figures from throughout history.
Hours and days of operation vary by museum. Please check the schedules for museums and attractions in advance to ensure they are open during the days of your visit.
